Devlog #1: First Steps into the Wild World of Blades and Beasts

Hey, hunters! Eroshi here with the first big update on Blades and Beasts. Things are heating up, and I’ve got some exciting progress to share — let’s dive into what’s new!

New Areas to Explore

The world’s growing! I’ve added three fresh spots for you to check out:

• The Camp: Your home base is now live! This is where you’ll hang out with the characters you’ve unlocked — think of it as your spot to chill, strategize, and… get to know your allies better.
  
• Slime Forest: A gooey, treacherous area crawling with 3 new slime enemies — slippery little foes that’ll test your blade skills. At the end? A certain Slime Girl boss waiting for her showdown.
  
• The Village: A cozy hub where you can stock up on food from merchants and hit the blacksmith to upgrade your gear. More on that below!

Wave System: Fight ‘til You Drop

• Combat’s getting a wicked twist with the new wave system! You’ll face off against enemies in auto-battles, slashing through hordes until you either take down the area’s boss or get knocked out. It’s fast and brutal — perfect for a hunter like you.

Village Life & Wolf Girl Moments

The camp isn’t just for resting— it’s alive with little events now! I added some interactions with the Wolf Girl:

• Now you can cook by the campfire — An unexpected guest will smell it and want to steal your food!

Upgrades at the Blacksmith

• The village blacksmith is open for business! Use your hard-earned loot to sharpen your blade or upgrade your armor.

A Spicy Sneak Peek (Off the Record)

• (0.1c) Let’s just say the Slime Girl’s got a… special scene in the works for the camp. It’s a little reward for beating her in battle, and I’ll leave it at “things get sticky” for now. Stay tuned for more on that front!
